Fall is here!

Hello all! Fall is here and so are lovely, long, and wonderful trench coats! If you can’t tell I absolutely LOVE trench coats. The one I am wearing here is actually from last season from JCrew but I still love it. They make any outfit stand out and really complete any look. I paired this look with the traditional turtle neck but chose a colorful one (with blues, oranges, and whites) so that it wouldn’t be traditional in the full sense. Additionally, I paired the turtle neck with a navy pencil skirt with golden buttons that appear to give the whole look a tailored, clean cut tone. I then added a classic nude pump to make the look more professional. In sum, I tried to put this look together with classic pieces that have something that makes them stand out. This goes to show you that professional looks don’t have to be boring, they can be cute, colorful, and exciting all the while being professional. I learned this through years of trial and error and thinking that to be professional I had to wear all black, grays, and browns. But I say, “No More!” Let the color and experimenting begin! And remember ladies, wear all the color and jewelry you want but make it classy as always.
