Memorial Day Inspiration

I hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day! I’d like to take a moment to honor our soldiers and thank their families for all of the support they provide our country. On another note, in honor of this holiday I have done a red, white and blue themed outfit post. Enjoy!

A day in the clouds

Happy Sunday readers! I am beyond excited for you to read this post. I waited weeks for Windsor to restock this tutu and when they finally did I bought it immediately. Normally tutus are more than $100 which is why I waited so long to actually buy one but the one I am wearing below was only $30 at Windsor. It is super comfy and easy to move in. I did this blog post with my baby sister, Jhoanna (instagram ID it_takes_two_). We both absolutely love this tutu and hope you enjoy how we paired it. I decided to make it more girly while she added a bit of edge. We also both paired it with heels and then converse to demonstrate that there is more than one way to wear a tutu. Enjoy!

Pink, lace, and pearls

Happy Tuesday! I am in love with this pink lace dress from New York & Company! I paired it with pearl everything (earrings, necklace, bracelets, rings), and it is definitely one of my favorite looks so far! You can dress up any dress when pairing it with a lot of jewelry as I have done here. I adore how pearls immediately make a look more sophisticated and I love how my look here came together. Enjoy!

Mother’s Day Brunch

Happy Mother’s Day everyone !!!! I love my mom for everything she has done and sacrificed for my three sisters and I, and for all the support, unconditional love, and guidance she has given me throughout my 25 years of life. I owe my mom my life and am so grateful that I was chosen to be her eldest daughter and part of our wonderful family. On another note, I wore this outfit to take my mom out to brunch. I love New York & Company. I find so many great deals and both comfy and professional clothing there. My entire outfit, sans the shoes is from there. Enjoy!

Gladiator sandal galor

Happy Friday readers! I hope you enjoy how I styled my new gladiator sandals. I am absolutely in love with them! I had wanted to buy gladiator sandals for months now and I finally gave in and bought some, and it has been the best decision I ever made. They can be styled with pretty much anything-shorts, skirts, dresses!

A stroll down neon lane

Happy Wednesday! I am so excited to review a Society of Chic dress on this post! How to de-wrinkle this dress:

If you look at the close-up of this dress the top is made of a stretchy material while the skirt is made of a foamy material (it literally feels like foam). I imagine they make it out of foamy material so that the dress will look “puffy” and have the bubble impression given in the pictures on the websit. The dress was very wrinkled when I received it, I imagine due to the packaging. I had to iron this dress myself. At first, I was worried about damaging the material because I had never owned a dress made of such foamy material however, first, I tried placing a white thin cloth over the dress and ironing it that way (with the iron on the silk setting) and when I saw it worked and the wrinkles on the skirt disappeared I decided to apply the iron directly to the skirt and it worked! I was ecstatic because I worried about having to take the dress to the dry cleaner’s, having to pay the high dry cleaning fee, and the dry cleaner ruining such an expensive dress. But no worries! You can iron the dress yourself as long as you place the iron on the silk setting and start on a small piece at first to ensure your iron will not damage it. Remember, every iron is different!

Tulle tulle tulle !!!!

Happy Sunday!!! I am in LOVE with this tulle skirt! First, I love tulle! Second, I love pink! In short, I fell in love with this skirt as soon as I laid eyes on it! It is amazingly comfy and easy to walk in. I paired it with a white-collared shirt, a bold statement necklace, and gold accessories. This was a wonderful Sunday outfit and I hope you guys enjoy!

Want to know how I go this outfit for under $50? Well, I went on a massive sale hunt last Saturday and found this amazing skirt ($26) and shirt ($20) all for a total of $46. I had been wanting a tulle skirt for over a year but they always ran over $100 so when I found this skirt for $26 I was in shock!
