Spring vibes on the blog

Happy day readers! Hope you are having a great weekend! I’m so excited spring is among us and to celebrate I wore this mint-colored blouse from Zara and shorts from Kohl’s. I have recently re-discovered Kohl’s and realized it really has great finds. This past weekend was my lucky day because I founds tons of things at Kohl’s and I am so excited for you to see them in my upcoming posts! Enjoy!

Coachella inspired look #3

Happy Friday readers! This is the last look in my music festival inspired collection. However, no worries, more fun and festive looks to come! This has become one of my favorite to-go T-shirts. It is extremely comfy and easily matches with jeans, shorts, and skater skirts. It is perfect for a music festival or night out on the town, or simply to run errands in. I paired this T-shirt with shorts and a sweater from Aeropostale and I loved it. The sweater is perfect to protect you from the chilly California breeze at night. Enjoy!

H&M Conscious Exclusive

Happy Thursday readers ! I am so happy to be reporting on my outfit from the new H&M Conscious Collection. This collection was created with a great cause in mind. H&M’s goal is to create sustainable clothing that benefits not only those of us wearing the clothes but also those who make the clothes. Plus, this clothing line enables H&M to influence other countries (whose citizens helps make H&M clothing) to provide their workers with a fair living wage. Most importantly, H&M wants to reach a level in which they make all of their clothes from sustainable resources such as cotton in order to reduce the harm to the environment. I am proud to be an H&M shopper and to be able to support them in the promotion of these principles which help shoppers enjoy fashion responsibly, without harming the environment or its inhabitants. I hope you enjoy this look! I loved the pants because although I am not very tall and don’t normally buy wide-legged pants because of this, these pants fit perfectly. Plus, the mustard crochet style top looked great paired with the pants. This look is extremely comfortable and chic and perfect for a date or a night out with friends. I love this for spring and summer and I hope you do too!

Fancy jumpsuit

Happy Wednesday! Thank you soooooo much for visiting my blog! I hope you enjoy my words and my outfits. I love love love this American Eagle jumpsuit. I bought it immediately (well as soon as I saw it and the sales rep told me he had just taken it out of the box-lucky me)! I paired this look with heels to elongate my legs so that you could better see the effect of the wide-legged bottom on the jumpsuit. I love that American Eagle carries XXS because their pants fit me perfectly (length and width) and I don’t have to worry about them dragging. This is the most comfy and cute outfit I have worn this month, I wore it out to brunch with a few girlfriends and they loved it too. You can also pair it with flats and a side purse and it would look great! Enjoy!

Unique hairdo

Happy Sunday readers! I have been experimenting with headbands and straighteners and below is a hairdo I created through such experimentation. I loved it, and I hope you guys like it too! It was extremely easy to create and it took me all of 30 minutes to do on my own hair (this includes the time I took to straighten my hair).

Steps to create this hairdo:

1. I straightened my hair pin straight

2. I put the headband on

3. I set a piece of hair aside on each side of my head (this will be used to create a braid on each side)

4. I grabbed my hair in a low ponytail once the headband was fastened on my head (and hair on each side was left separated)

5. I grabbed medium sized pieces of hair (from the hair in my ponytail) and rolled them into circles and fastened them with bobby pins.

6. I repeated step 5 until I had gone through my entire hair

7. I let pieces roam free to give it a messy appearance

8. Then I made a braid with each piece of extra hair I left out and fastened it to the rolled pieces of hair in the back

9. Voila! You’re done!

Blonder days

Happy Friday readers! This was my first time styling overalls since I was 12 years old! I don’t know why I ever stopped wearing them, they’re the most comfortable bottoms ever! I made this look unique by adding by own style, the cheetah heels, lots of jewelry and a wonderful hat from the Kardashian Kollection. Enjoy!

Lovely spring skirt

Are you guys loving this spring weather? I sure am, it is wonderful to go outside and feel a warm breeze or at least to be free of the snow after such a long and cold winter. Aside from the weather, let’s talk fashion! I’m in love with my new Windsor skirt! It flows and moves so well. It is sure to brighten any day and is perfect for spring. You can pair it with heels, as I have done here, or with flats and even sandals. The statement necklace I wear here is beautiful and can also be worn with many other outfits, it is very versatile and can create a pop in any outfit. This outfit can be worn for brunch, Sunday out with the family, or a date. It is definitely comfortable and unique. Enjoy!
